Brian Westbye is a certified dreamer. By day, he is an anti-money laundering investigator for a major East coast bank, and by night, he makes music and fills blank pages.
Westbye has battled depression/anxiety, childhood trauma, and a hideous midlife crisis, and has mostly won. Accordingly, he wrote Driving Toward Clarity: (Re)Discovering America and Myself Along Route 66, his first book: so he could help others overcome the same demons.
Westbye lives in Maine with his wife and two cat babies, and frequently visits his second family and home in Seattle.
